Why I Started Louma

For years, I had a ritual. It wasn’t extravagant. It didn’t need to be. A warm bath. Dr. Teal’s Epsom salt. Sometimes music, sometimes silence. Ten, maybe twenty minutes where I could let go of everything else and just be.
God bless that man. His salt brought me peace more times than I can count.
Back then, I didn’t call it self-care. It was just something I did to reset. When life felt heavy or my mind was too full, the bath is where I returned. Not to escape, but to remember myself.
That steady ritual carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life.
When it was time to start over, when everything needed to shift, I knew where I wanted to begin. I wanted to build something from the place that had always held me. The bath gave me calm. It gave me clarity. It gave me a quiet place to soften, even when everything else was loud.
So I asked myself: What would it look like to share that space? To create something that invited others into the same kind of peace?
That is where Louma began.
It started with presence, not products. With intention, not perfection. With the simple idea that self-care can be sacred and sensory and fully yours.
Each Louma blend was created to support those quiet moments. To help you come home to yourself. To luminate your life from the inside out.
So whether this is your first ritual or one you’re returning to, I’m grateful you’re here. This is where Louma lives. And I’m so glad you found it.
